So a few weeks ago we featured the beautiful NY wedding of Frances and Sam by the photographer Minnow Park and we loved Minnows relaxed, youthful style over here at Bride and Chic HQ {aka wherever Fran and I can get free WiFi}. I emailed Minnow to thank him for letting us share his images and said that he shouldn't hesitate to send over any other weddings he felt were particularly stylish.

Sometimes we see weddings here at Bride and Chic that are not necessarily full of little details or DIY touches but are simply full of elegance, romance, laughter and love. Oh, and an ultra glamourous dress worthy of any red carpet... its a beauty!

So you're probably looking out of the window this *July* morning and thinking what the hell happened to summer? Well, because we're nice like that we thought we'd brighten the day with this very sweet, romantic outdoor Central Park ceremony followed by super cool Hudson Hotel penthouse reception wedding in New York, New York. The fresh and contemporary images were taken by their photographer Minnow Park, any NY brides-to-be should check him out!

Now although we are a blog for all things wedding related nationally and internationally, we do have a penchant for local weddings as its a great opportunity to show off what great weddings we can pull off 'oop north. In my opinion, we have more limited resources than down South and although we do have some awesome venues, suppliers, photographers etc here, they are just few and far between {but seek and ye shall find!}.

So yesterday we brought you this lovely rock the frock shoot from Renira and Jane Photography and today we have more from these photographers with this lovely garden party style wedding in the park. It has some lovely little touches and looks like an amazing day was had at this intimate gathering, captured beautifully by Renira and Jane.

Now I've wittered on a bit recently about the longevity of the vintage shabby chic style as a wedding theme as it has been around a while now {and the Vintage Glamour style of the Royal Wedding probably serves as a hint as to what is to come for weddings over the next year or so}, but vintage for some people is a way of life and not a passing phase.

Sometimes you see a wedding and it reminds you of what actually they are all about, family, tradition, love and for this Bournemouth couple, faith. No over the top details, no novelty moustaches, no pretentious concepts just pure, unadulterated declarations of love and commitment. I think it is all to easy for brides and grooms to get caught up in the small details, and ultimately lose track of what the day means to them and so I wanted to let this wedding speak for itself.

I have been so excited to bring you this gorgeously stylish Parisian wedding for a few weeks as it has so many beautiful images and one of my all time favourite dresses, Gabriel by Delphine Manivet. This dress is somehow elegantly ballet-esque yet bohemian and requires a seriously chic bride to fulfil its true potential. Step forward Ambre, a beautiful bride there ever was, effortlessly stylish in basically a headband and a cardi..You have to have a certain something to pull off this look but its clear that Ambre has it and her wedding is similarly stunning.

I have great pleasure in showing you these images from Gudrun and Michaels special day not least because it feels like a truly intimate weekend but secondly because of once again the beautiful photography from Julie Kim. I asked the bride Gudrun to tell me a few details about her wedding and she has done a brilliant job and even included details with real honesty which will help other brides planning their nuptials so a massive thank you to her for the effort she put in for us!

Being a city bride myself there is nothing I love more than an urban wedding, more often than not the venues are quirky and the bride and groom are able to imprint their own personal styles as it is easier to break away from the "norm". So when Julie Kim sent me details of Gwen and Jim's uber-cool London wedding I couldnt have been more excited, it was, as they say, right up my street.

So, here it is the Crewe big day.
As the cliché goes, it really was the best day of my life, and I have had some pretty good days in my, ahem, 31 years. What can be better than being surrounded by your loved ones, each and every person there to celebrate your marriage (well, that and enjoy the free champagne and food).

Jonny and Emma were actually married last year but there are some weddings that just stand the test of the time and this classic British wedding does just that. From the amazing Ian Stuart dress to the beautiful flower arrangements, this wedding really does epitomise the fairytale dream, complete with the dramatic castle and sweeping grounds. Even the rain didn’t dampen the spirits and in true British style the party carried on in to the early hours.
