Stella and Dot

A friend of mine was showing me some wedding photos yesterday and the bride was beaming in a beautiful strapless gown and striking statement necklace, one of my absolute favourite bridal looks. We are seeing it more and more now as fashion conscious brides choose a simple gown but accessorise with stunning oversized jewellery, quite the contradiction to the usual delicate pieces associated with brides.

So this reminded me of a company I stumbled across on twitter called Stella & Dot as their jewellery is stunning, the beautiful use of colour and contrasting materials make real statement pieces at reasonable prices too. The necklaces are so striking and the summery coloured bib designs would work brilliantly at a destination wedding.

	Now why weren't you around 6.5 years ago when I was sorting out my wedding :-) I didn't go statement necklace then, but with a milliner for an aunt, I did go statement hair piece instead! But love your choice of bold and beautiful pieces here...I'd encourage your readers to check out the website...many pieces have stories to them, and the videos also give an insight into the design and making of pieces!
