Happy New Year!!

I have been thinking today about the year gone by, what with it being New Years Eve and all and I can honestly say this has been the best year of my life. This is mainly down to the fact that I married the love of my life, a man who I had been together with for over 15 years and who completes my life.

Apart from my wedding being the best day of my life by miles, the run up to the big day has also played a huge part in this being such an amazing year. I have enjoyed every last second of the planning, the shopping and the preparation. I had the most amazing hen weekend in Marbella and then a fantastic night out in Manchester plus a few shopping trips to trendy London with my partner in wedding crime, my gorgeous mummy. Then of course after the big day there is the honeymoon followed by receiving your wedding album and videos and the general reminiscing which pretty much lasts all year!

I thought I'd do a quick run down of my year in pics, only for the reason that it was an excuse for me to look through all of this years fabulous images and get lost in the memories!

The year started amazingly with a holiday in beautiful Barbados...oh to the be there right now!
My little boy posing in front of picture postcard views, one of my favourite memories from the holiday.
My hen weekend in Marbella, a military theme thanks to me being in the army.. well..Combined Cadet Force. Twas muchos funos thanks to my amazing hens.
My second Manchester hen do above, again a truly memorable evening thanks to the hard work and effort from lovely friends and family.
And then of course we were married, this is not a pro picture obviously but I like it for encapsulating the day.
On to our honeymoon, staying in a fabulous ultra private trulli in rural Puglia, Italy.
Aaahh, a bit of romance.
A brilliant post honeymoon festival weekend with hubby... little did we know would result in...
..to top it all I received the best Christmas pressie ever last week when I had 20 week scan and was told we were having a little girl, a baby sister for big brother Joe... not that he's too happy about it though. Girls are boring apparently!

Finally I have taken great pleasure from working and researching for this blog which only came about from my own wedding planning and along with my ace lady Fran I am really looking forward to the year ahead and our new projects we have planned.

So, to all you brides to be out there, if this is your year then take in every second and enjoy the process before and after and hopefully this too will be the greatest year in your life!

Here's to a year of blogging, babies and of course beautiful chic weddings

Love this post, it truely seems to sum up what an amazing year you have had. So glad I was a part of your hen weekend (s) and your wedding. You and Jeff truly are the 'perfect' couple! Matt's got 10 years left if he is using Jeffery as his goal post for a proposal, but after reading this I know that the year I marry him will definatly be our best! Can't wait for Miss Crewe to arrive! x x x x x x x x x x
