A Modern Classic

Hooray, our first real wedding and it’s an extra special one for me as it features one of my all-time favourite dresses Charlotte Balbier’s Tabitha (or more commonly known as my “if-I-was-getting-married-in-a-marquee-or-country-house-dress”). Apologies in advance for the gratuitous dress shots!

Helen and Pete got married in October 2010 at Our Lady’s Church, Haigh, Wigan followed by a reception at the beautiful Knowsley Hall in Merseyside, a really fitting venue for this elegant wedding. Not only did Helen pull Tabitha off beautifully but she also accessorised it perfectly going for a modern side flower corsage and long veil, cleverly avoiding the classic chignon for a much fresher look. I also love the flowers at this wedding too, dusky pinks and sage greens complementing the subtle vintage feel of the day.

Helen and Pete look amazing, and the pictures really show how truely stunning Helen looked! The venue was out of this world and the dress perfect for Helen's figure! Love it!
