So you're probably looking out of the window this *July* morning and thinking what the hell happened to summer? Well, because we're nice like that we thought we'd brighten the day with this very sweet, romantic outdoor Central Park ceremony followed by super cool Hudson Hotel penthouse reception wedding in New York, New York. The fresh and contemporary images were taken by their photographer Minnow Park, any NY brides-to-be should check him out!

One of the most common questions I am asked by friends who are about to embark on wedding planning is can I recommend any wedding photographers. Granted, we see a hell of a lot wedding photography here at bride and chic but wedding photography now is all about personal taste as well as budget, wedding photography styles are now as varied as the weddings themselves.

I think one of the biggest changes in the way brides and grooms to be approach their weddings nowadays is they are much more keen to stamp their own style and creativity on the day. Gone are the days when favours, table plans and decor were last on the list of priorities behind the flowers and dress and for pretty DIY detail fans this is of course great news

For some the dress shopping experience is something to look forward to and they throw themselves in to it 100% but for others it is an idea of hell... the pressure of finding 'the one' is not something they look forward to. I loved it and wish I could do it all over again but I know of some who have literally chosen the first one they tried such was the hideousness of the idea of traipsing around the regions bridal shops.
